Kestrel Vintners out of Prosser, WA released the Lady in Red 3rd Holiday Edition at Vino Bello Wine Bar Saturday, November 1st. The Lady herself was on hand for bottle signing. The wine was well received with more than 8 cases sold in less than 2 hours. Customers who attended the wine tasting were the first in WA State to taste the new hand crafted release from Kestrel. The fruit used for this bottling was primarily sourced from the Kestrel View Estate vineyards and was barrel aged for 20 months producing a lush wine with flavors and aromas of fully ripened black and red berries coupled with generous fine tannins. The wine possesses a deep color which fades to a red-purple hue at the edges and has a nose of ripe blueberry, black pepper, currants, fig and dried cranberries. The blend is 40% Cabernet Sauvignon, 30% Sangiovese, 15% Syrah and 15% Merlot. It is a must have for any holiday dinner or celebration.
